Hi everyone, hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
We are almost there with the tooling modification and we have kicked off the concrete base production. Our engineer is at the tubing factory preparing the machine to produce copper spiral. Here are some new updates on the Pavilion production.
We have been sourcing and testing several batteries for the Pavilion. Besides the costs, we are sorting out reliable vendors for the mass production. Optimizing PCB and testing Bluetooth compatibility is taking some time right now. We have found some connections loss with an old phone, so we will get this fixed before it goes out. FCC CE laboratory testing is prepared to start soon. It is expected to take 3~4 weeks, so it should be done by the time Pavilions ship out.
Concrete base production needed more attention than we expected and also more patience. With lots of trial and error, we have found the right molding materials and the inner structure. Now our speaker bases are coming out with accurate dimensions. The ideal hardening period to safe stiffness level is supposed to be 12 hours, but It is taking around 24 hours to produce one due to the rainy season. The humidity level is currently averaging 80% and it is slowing down of hardening speed.
Mass copper spiral production is in preparation. Making copper spiral required great precision and our team worked hard to get ideal dimension, angle and curvature of the spiral. We are making the spiral machine based on our drawing and we are expecting the machine to be ready by 2 weeks from now.
